Guaranteed Admission for Qualified International Students

Opportunities in Higher Education

Based on our reputation in the community, Maumee Valley has partnered with four local universities to offer guaranteed admission for qualified international students: Bowling Green State University, Lourdes University, The University of Toledo, and the University of Findlay. This is a terrific opportunity for our students to explore the outstanding programs offered at our regional universities. (This program is only offered to qualified international students, except at Lourdes University, where it is also open to qualified non-international students.)

Bowling Green State University (international students)
In addition to offering guaranteed admission to high-achieving MVCDS students directly to the university (not to a language program), MVCDS and Bowling Green State University (BGSU) have partnered to provide students with a clear education on the admission process, program-specific admission, and advising information through on-site admission meetings at MVCDS. To qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
- complete a minimum of two years of study at MVCDS.
- graduate with a minimum 2.5 GPA.
- complete all admission application requirements for BGSU.
Lourdes University (international and non-international students)
In addition to offering guaranteed admission to high-achieving MVCDS students directly to the university (not to a language program), MVCDS and Lourdes University (LU) have partnered to provide students with a clear education on the admission process,, program-specific admission, and advising information through on-site admission meetings at MVCDS. To qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
- Complete a minimum of two years of study at MVCDS.
- Graduate with a minimum 2.5 GPA.
- Successfully complete all admission application procedures and requirements for LU.
The University of Toledo (international)
In addition to offering guaranteed admission to high-achieving MV students directly to the university (not American Language Institute (ALI) in the case of international students), MVCDS and The University of Toledo (UT) have partnered to provide students with a clear education on the admission process, program-specific admission, and advising information through on-site admission meetings at Maumee Valley. To qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
- completed a minimum of two years of study at MVCDS.
- graduate with a minimum 2.5 GPA.
- must meet minimum ACT or SAT score requirements
- complete all admission application requirements for UT.
University of Findlay (International)
Maumee Valley Country Day School and The University of Findlay (UF) agree to facilitate the transfer of international students from Maumee Valley to UF as they pursue their educational goals. This agreement applies to international students who have completed their secondary education and have received a diploma from Maumee Valley and are applying for undergraduate coursework at UF. (MV students who do not meet the terms of this agreement may still apply and will be considered for admission although admission is not guaranteed.)
- Completed a minimum of two years of study at MV.
- Graduate from MV with a minimum 2.5 GPA.
- Completed all admission application requirements for UF.
(This agreement is for admission to UF and does not imply admission to a specific college or program at UF. Further requirements may be necessary to be accepted to the program of choice.)
